Dedicated Helpers
A large team of dedicated volunteers play a key role in the day-to-day running of Saint Catherine's Hospice.
Volunteers provide practical help in different areas of the hospice and can choose to come on a regular basis or provide relief cover when necessary. The support they give to the staff is invaluable and the hospice never underestimates the importance of the volunteers' role.
Very special kind of people
Only thinking of others
Love facing a challenge
Underestimate the importance of their work
Never or very rarely lose their patience
Think as a team and as an individual
Expect to get on with the job
Experience a great feeling of a job well done
Rally round whenever a problems arises
Smile even in adversity.
